DIY Peppermint Lip Scrub

Hey beauties! Today, on the blog I’ll be showing you how to make an incredibly easy DIY Peppermint Lip Scrub, that only requires 4 ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen cupboard at home. There has been a huge hype around the use of lip scrubs for quite some time now, and I can honestly say I love them! They help to gently scrub away rough, flaky skin while keeping your lips feel so smooth and moisturized. And I know that reasonably priced lip scrubs are often hard to come by. Which is why I was inspired to write this post. Cracked, dry lips are most common during winter, however, for me, I have dry, chapped lips all year around. Such a bummer, right? Anyways, I normally always make my own lip scrubs, because it’s just so simple to make, although, I’m definitely no expert in the DIY department, but I do make the occasional body scrub once in a while when I’m feeling experimental, but that’s about it. Now, let’s get straight to business, shall we?

INGREDIENTS:

1 TBS White Sugar

1 TBS Coconut Oil, Melted

2-3 Drops Of Essential Peppermint Oil

2-3 Drops Of Green Food Colouring (optional)

INSTUCTIONS:

Simply combine all of the ingredients together in a small bowl. You can add more or less of some these ingredients to get the consistency you prefer, then transfer to a small container.

HOW TO USE:

Apply the scrub to your lips and massage in circular motions for around 30 seconds, then simply wipe off for instantly smoother and softer lips!

This lip scrub will keep for about two months if stored at room temperature, if the weather is really hot, you can even pop it in the fridge aswell.

So there you have it! An incredibly easy DIY Lip Scrub that can be made in minutes. I’d love to know your thoughts. Share them down in the comments section below!
