Revlon Ultimate All-In-One Mascara – Review

Hey everyone! I’m back with an overdue review on the new Revlon Ultimate All-In-One Mascara. I purchased this on a whim while I was doing a big shop at dis-chem a few weeks back, and when I say big shop, I mean makeup (let’s get real) Revlon has added 5 new mascara’s to their range, including the Super Length, Ultra Volume, Dramatic Definition, Volume and Length Magnified, and lastly. The one I got – The Ultimate All-In-One in the shade Darkest Black. The Revlon Ultimate All-In-One Mascara is said to do 5 lash transforming benefits – in one, by adding; volume, length, definition, lift and intense colour, which sounds like everything I need, and what everyone else would need aswell. Unless you already have long, voluminous lashes, then I’m so jealous of you! Anyways, I think it’s time to get into the review, shall we? Okay…

Revlon Claims: Revlon Ultimate All-In-One Mascara delivers 5 benefits in 1: Volume, Length, Definition, Lift and Rich Intense Color.

The mascara comes packaged in a slick flat packaging. It has a rather unique mini oval shaped brush that looks like it was created for the lower lashes verses the top ones. At first, I was rather skeptical, because I was thinking how is this tiny brush going to coat all my lashes without taking ages? So, I put it to the test, and I’m happy to report that I absolutely love the smaller sized brush. I have more control over it. Whereas If I use a bigger brush I tend to get mascara all over my eyelids (happens all the time)

Revlon calls this brush a “power mini brush” and promises the unique oval shape makes for easy application as the hollow core design deposits the formula on each lash easily. I can honestly vouch for this claim. It does an amazing job at getting into all those hard to reach places and doing an excellent job at separating your lashes aswell.

Application wise, the mascara did a great job at thickening up the base of my lashes while adding length. This mascara has a very wet formula, so, you can easily build up the intensity for a more dramatic look, without it drying too quickly or clumping. Thankfully, it’s not too wet to the point where it’ll smudge and flake off throughout the day. In terms of pigmentation, It’s super black. And gives a very nice curl to your lashes without the need for an eyelash curler (I always use one anyways) in terms of longevity. My lashes remained curled, lengthened and voluminous through out the day, without smudging, smearing, or giving me ‘racoon eyes’.

My final thoughts? So far, I absolutely love this mascara! If you’re looking for a mascara that will provide your lashes with length, volume and definition. I’d definitely recommend trying this one out for yourself!
