Hi there! My name is Mary. I am the face behind Pretty on a Dime (a beauty blog). Last year January I decided to start a blog after wanting to start one for months! I focus on affordable beauty products like makeup, hair care and skincare. I am slowly getting into higher end makeup aswell. What you will find on my blog are tons of reviews (because I mostly focus on that), seasonal favorites, subscription unboxings and more!
Today I am sharing my top 5 current makeup products from the drugstore! It was pretty hard for me to choose only 5 products, but as I sat down and went through my makeup it became pretty easy because I do reach for these products a lot! I’ve did reviews on all of them except 2. Okay, so enough rambling let’s get started shall we?
1. LA Girl Pro HD Concealer
I love this concealer! This one has great coverage, it’s creamy and blend-able. I use this under my eyes to attempt to cover up my dark circles. It is long lasting too!
2. Elf Flawless Foundation
I love Elf. They are one of my favorite brands! This foundation is amazing. It has medium coverage and blends out great! You can build it up too and it has a decent wear time. I have dry skin and it doesn’t look really bad either.
3. Physicians Formula Butter Blush
This is a go-to blush of mine. It smells like a tropical vacation! It feels like butter on your skin and blends like a dream. The pigmentation is amazing too! I’m a packaging kinda girl and the packaging on this is stunning! This is one of my favorite blushes at the moment, the shade I have is in ‘Vintage Rouge’.
4. Wet ‘N Wild MegaGlo Highlighter
This is a great everyday highlighter because it’s not too intense. I reach for this one on days where I don’t want a crazy highlight. It blends out and can be built up for more intensely. I also love it because it doesn’t contain any chunky glitter.
5. NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray
Lastly on this list is this setting spray! Like I mentioned before I have dry skin (okay, well that’s an understatement). Anywho, I love this one because it gives me a subtle glow without being too much. The sprayer is great, (yes that is a important thing to me). It really does help with the longevity of my makeup.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my top 5 current faves. I would love to hear about your top 5! Thanks for reading.
